#1   The Secret to a healthy lifestyle: It’s not what you think!

Maybe you are struggling to maintain your diet. Possibly you are struggling to find the time to keep fit, or perhaps your workout plan is just not working out! You already know the media is great at showing you how you should look, feel and live.

But what if this doesnt work for you?

What if you don’t want to spend your life on a constant merry-go-round of yo-yoing from feast to famine, from fitness to faliure.

If you are fed up with feeling like you can’t make this ‘healthy lifestyle‘ thing stick, then it could be possible you are trying too hard.

What if I can show you a way right now that you can easily live healthier, happier and longer without starving yourself or going anywhere near a gym?

I’m about to share with you the 3-step Health Kickstarter plan I share with all my clients when they work with me.  Here is a quick overview…

Step 1… Whole Foods –A simple step to living healthier is eating whole foods.  I know you probably already know this, but its worh reminding you. Eating natural foods that your body can process more efficiently will make a huge difference to yor energy and health.

Take time to prepare your own meals to show your body that you are investing in it.  When you take an interest in how you fuel your body you will be rewarded with more energy, you will get slimmer and feel healthier.

Step 2… Get Moving -Hey, I get it!  What I’m about to share with you is not rocket science!  But maybe you need a reminder.  Break free from the modern day sedentary lifestyle and simply move more.  Your body is designed to be active.  By moving more your body will thank you.

Step 3… Positive Vibes – Surround yourself with positive vibes.  Take time in the day to totally remove yourself from the negative narritive of work, home and the media. Give yourself time doing a new skill or hobby, something to change your focus allowing your daily pressures to be put on hold.  You need to break your work/life day just as importantly as you need to break your fast when you wake up.

Doing all this will help you feel amazing on a daily basis, ‘cos you know what, YOU ARE AMAZING!

 When you take yourself out of that negative loop of..

  • Crap Job
  • Crap Food
  • Crap Relationships
  • Crap Energy

You will realise YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT. You will enter the world of being the most important person in your life… BECAUSE YOU ARE!

From experience, I have found you will need to re-stock your cupboards.  In my next article ‘Reclaim your diet to re-start with healthy eating‘ you will recieve a list of go to foods, from breakfast to bedtime.  These ingredients will sustain you so that you reduce your need to snack and recieve that long term energy boost that you’ve been missing.

Here are 5 quick reminders about what you can do in the next 24hrs to make quick changes for long term results…

  1. Aim to eat at least 7 different fruits & Vegetables each day –  promote your gut health.  Be creative with your meals to get as much variety of colour on to your plate.
  2. Reduce your Sugar intake.  Sugar is being sneaked into your food, so make sure you read the labels to consciously make more natural healthy choices.
  3. Make Nuts & Seeds you go to snack and include them in your 7 a day.
  4. Move More! Go for a walk, a brisk walk or jog TODAY and plan at least one of these in every day.  Whether it’s a Daily Kickstarter, Lunchtime Boost or After Work Wind Down.  If you already workout make sure you balance your program of anaerobic and aerobic exercise.
  5. Put down your phone, turn off the TV, unplug the news and find an enjoyable activity you can focus on to unwind.
